Job summary

UAB Medicine in Birmingham, AL is seeking a registered nurse to deliver patient care using the nursing process, promote health, and prevent illness. You will collaborate with physicians and the care team to plan, implement, and evaluate care.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited Nursing program required.
• Bachelor's degree in Nursing preferred.
• Current Alabama RN license required or eligible.
• BLS certification required or obtained within 30 days.
• ACLS and/or PALS may be required depending on unit.

Responsibilities

• Utilize the nursing process to assess and care for patients.
• Collaborate with care team to plan and evaluate patient care.
• Provide health teaching and counseling to patients and families.
• Ensure timely and cost-efficient delivery of care.
