Job summary

Department of Veterans Affairs is seeking a Critical Care Registered Nurse to provide high-quality care in a demanding setting. This on-site role includes night shifts (7:30 pm–8:00 am), rotating weekends and holidays, with opportunities under the EDRP loan repayment program.

Qualifications

• U.S. citizenship required; background/security investigation.
• Pre-employment physical evaluation and pre-employment requirements per VA policy.
• Proper licensure from any US State or territory (RN) is required.

Responsibilities

• Delivers fundamental nursing care to assigned patients.
• Plans, implements, and evaluates care with age-specific considerations.
• Administers medications and procedures per policies.
• Collaborates with interdisciplinary team to improve patient outcomes.
• Delegates tasks based on patient condition and safety.
• Coordinates patient education, self-management and satisfaction.
