Qualifications

  • English language proficiency required.
  • Graduate of a nursing program approved by ACEN/CCNE or equivalent.
  • State license as a registered nurse upon appointment.
  • Bridge program pathways for nursing graduates may lead to licensure.
  • Foreign nursing education requires official degree equivalency validation (ICD).
  • Current, full, active RN license in the US or DC is required or obtainable via temporary appointment.

Responsibilities

  • Provide nursing care to assigned patients in accordance with standards of practice.
  • Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care across age groups.
  • Coordinate care with interdisciplinary team to ensure patient education and outcomes.
  • Administer medications and procedures per facility policies.
  • Maintain ongoing professional development and evidence-based practice.
