Job summary

Terrestris Global Solutions is seeking a Registered Nurse to support the Veteran community in Dayton, OH. The role is a 1-year contract with a pay rate of $40 per hour, based at 4100 W Third Street, Dayton.

The ideal candidate holds an Ohio nursing license, CPR and BLS/ACLS certifications, and at least 1 year of direct patient care experience. VA experience is a plus; credentialing will be completed per VA processes.

Qualifications

• Authorization to work in the U.S. permanently, without sponsorship.
• Ohio Board of Nursing license.
• Current CPR certification (AHA vendor).
• 1+ year of direct patient care in the last 3 years.
• BLS/ACLS certification.
• VA experience is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Perform critical care nursing for ICU patients.
• Scrub and circulate in ED and Operating Room.
• Obtain patient history and family history.
• Assess patient and plan nursing care.
• Document care in the medical record.
• Administer medications and IV therapies.
• Interpret cardiac rhythms and manage emergencies.
• Discharge planning as appropriate.
