Required: current State RN license; BLS; CC course preferred; ACLS 30 days after hire preferred; at least 1 year in acute

Qualifications

• Current valid State Registered Nurse License is required.
• Completion of Critical Care Course preferred.
• BLS (AHA) certificate required at hire and current.
• ACLS (AHA) certificate within 30 days of hire preferred.
• Minimum 1 year of staff RN experience in acute care hospital; critical care preferred.
• BSN preferred.

Responsibilities

• Deliver safe patient care using the nursing process (assessment, planning, implementation, evaluation).
• Provide direct patient care within scope of practice.
• Direct and guide patient/family teaching and activities of other nursing personnel.
• Maintain patient privacy and confidentiality.
