Qualifications

• 0-2 years of nursing experience in an acute care setting preferred
• RN licensure in good standing for Texas or applicable state license
• Experience with ICU clinical protocols and physician orders
• Capable of patient assessments and documentation
• Knowledge of infection control and safety standards
• Ability to respond to medical emergencies and perform CPR

Responsibilities

• Coordinate and deliver high-quality, patient-centered care per nursing process
• Document assessments and changes in condition for care team
• Administer prescribed medications and monitor for adverse reactions
• Assist physicians during procedures within competency scope
• Collaborate to develop and evaluate individualized care plans
• Respond to emergencies and participate in code team activites
• Provide patient and family education and discharge instructions
• Maintain infection control practices and ensure patient safety
