Job summary

Beth Israel Deaconess Hospital Plymouth is seeking a Registered Nurse for the 13-bed Critical Care Center. The role supports adult and geriatric patients with medical and/or surgical issues under 24-hour intensivist coverage. Flexibility to float to other units is required, with seniority preferences under the MNA contract.

Minimum Mass RN license, BLS/ACLS, and 6–12 months CCU experience are required. BSN and CCRN are preferred.

Qualifications

• Current Mass RN license.
• Current AHA BLS and ACLS certification required.
• At least 6months-1 year recent critical care experience; able to demonstrate competency in ventilator management, vasoactive and sedation titration, hemodynamic monitoring, cardiac dysrhythmia recognition and management, post STEMI care.

Responsibilities

• Provide care in a 13-bed Critical Care Center with 24-hour intensivist coverage.
• Perform core critical care skills including ventilator management and hemodynamic monitoring.
• May be floated to areas as needed; comply with union requirements and seniority rules.
