Job summary

HCA Florida Trinity Hospital in Florida is seeking a dedicated Critical Care Registered Nurse to join our CVCU team. You will deliver high-quality, patient-centered care to critically ill patients in a fast-paced environment.

The role requires FL RN licensure, nursing diploma or ASN, with BSN preferred, and certifications including BLS, ACLS within 6 months, and NIHSS within 6 months. Previous acute care experience is strongly preferred.

Qualifications

• Must hold Florida RN license or compact licensure; active FL RN within 60 days of hire.
• Nursing Diploma or ASN required; BSN preferred.
• Acute care experience strongly preferred.
• AHA BLS certification required.
• ACLS certification required within 6 months of hire/transfer.
• NIHSS certification required within 6 months of hire/transfer.
• Strong critical thinking, service excellence and good interpersonal communication; PC skills.

Responsibilities

• Assess, plan, intervene and evaluate care for critically ill patients.
• Instruct patients and families regarding medications and treatment.
• Maintain and review patient records, posting tests and results.
• Administer medications per physician orders.
