Job summary
Florida Medical Center is seeking a qualified registered nurse to provide professional and technical nursing care in our Critical Care Areas. The role supports adherence to regulatory guidelines and nursing processes, while preparing equipment and assisting physicians during treatments.
The ideal candidate holds a Florida RN license, BLS and ACLS certifications, and demonstrates strong English communication.
Qualifications
- Current Florida RN License is required.
- Education: Technical School/2 years college/Associates Degree.
- Current BLS Certification is required.
- Current ACLS Certification is required.
- Basic Arrhythmia Skills are required.
- Completion of Critical Care Course preferred.
- Ability to communicate in English.
Responsibilities
- Deliver professional and technical nursing care in Critical Care Areas in accordance with hospital policies.
- Adhere to nursing process: assessment, planning, implementation and evaluation.
- Prepare equipment and assist physicians during treatments and examinations.
- Instruct and supervise Patient Care Assistants as needed.
- Maintain compliance with licensing and regulatory guidelines (TJC, AHCA, OSHA, CMS, DCF).
