Job summary

MercyOne Clinton Medical Center in Clinton, Iowa is seeking a part-time RN for the CCU to provide safe, high‑quality care to critically ill patients, including those on ECMO, within a Catholic, not-for-profit health system. The position requires an Iowa RN license (IL license if working in IL), BSN preferred, and active BLS/ACLS with additional certifications as outlined.

Qualifications

• Iowa RN license current (IL license if working in IL).
• Associate degree required; BSN preferred.
• BLS certification; ACLS within 12 months of hire.
• TNCC certification prior to or after hire.
• Non-Violent Crisis Intervention Training within 6 months.

Responsibilities

• Conduct initial assessment to gather data.
• Develop outcome-based plan of care from patient problems.
• Implement and evaluate the care plan.
• Communicate relevant clinical information to the team to optimize outcomes.
• Supervise and coordinate care provided by LPN, PCTs and nursing team.
• Adhere to safety, infection control and policies; ensure accountability.
• Lead/direct others in high-stress situations and environments.
