Job summary

MercyOne Clinton Medical Center in Clinton, IA is seeking an experienced CCU registered nurse for a 12-hour night shift. You will care for high-risk, critically ill patients, including ECMO, and coordinate with a multidisciplinary team.

The ideal candidate holds an Iowa RN license (IL license if practicing in IL), BLS, and ACLS/TNCC/NVCI credentials within specified timelines. The role offers competitive pay and comprehensive benefits.

Qualifications

• Iowa RN license active; IL license if practicing in IL.
• BLS certification and mandatory reporter training.
• ACLS certification within 12 months of hire.
• TNCC and NVCI training within 6 months of hire.
• Strong language, math, and critical thinking abilities.

Responsibilities

• Conduct an initial patient assessment and data collection.
• Develop and implement outcome-based care plans.
• Coordinate care with LPNs and Patient Care Assistants.
• Communicate with physicians, patients, and families to optimize outcomes.
• Maintain safety, infection control, and compliance with policies.
