Job summary

MercyOne Clinton Medical Center is hiring an RN for the CCU. Schedule: 7:00 pm – 7:30 am, every third weekend and holiday rotation. Provides safe, effective, culturally competent care for high-risk patients, with ECMO responsibilities and coordination with LPNs and care team.

Requires Iowa RN license, BLS, ACLS within 12 months, and TNCC/NVCI training within 6 months. MercyOne values mission-driven, collaborative care.

Qualifications

• Associate degree required; BSN preferred.
• Iowa RN license current; IL license if working in IL.
• BLS certification; ACLS within 12 months.
• TNCC and NVCI training within 6 months.
• Strong critical thinking; ability to work under pressure.
• Basic computer skills; able to work with diverse groups.

Responsibilities

• Conducts initial assessment to gather data.
• Develops outcome-based care plans from problems.
• Implements and evaluates the care plan.
• Communicates clinical information to team for patient outcomes.
• Supervises and coordinates care on assigned unit.
• Adheres to safety, infection control and policies.
