Firelands Regional Medical Center is seeking a Registered Nurse in Critical Care for the night shift (7p-7a) on a full-time basis. The role emphasizes high-quality patient care, accurate documentation, and collaborative teamwork in a fast-paced ICU setting.

Requirements include an active Ohio RN license and CPR; ACLS and EKG proficiency are needed or obtained within 6 months. CCRN/TNCC are preferred within 2 years. The hospital offers strong benefits and a supportive work culture.

Qualifications

• Must have a current Ohio RN license and CPR prior to patient care.
• ACLS, Basic EKG, ECCO required or obtained within 6 months of hire.
• CCRN and TNCC certification is preferred within 2 years in area of expertise.
• Excellent organizational, customer service skills, and computer proficiency.

Responsibilities

• Implements the nursing process with patients; carries out physician orders per Firelands standards of care.
• Performs assessments; monitors and documents nursing interventions; reports findings to physicians.
• Instructs patients, staff and family regarding treatments and discharge planning.
• Responds to emergencies; ensures availability of medications and supplies; maintains clean equipment/environment.
• Demonstrates service excellence and acts as an ambassador for Firelands Health.
