MetroHealth is hiring a registered nurse for the Critical Care Step Down Unit, 7 West, at MetroHealth Main Campus- Glick. The unit has 14 beds and requires 72 bi-weekly hours with a rotating shift schedule (7a-7p / 7p-7a) and rotating weekends and holidays.

The role involves caring for patients with CHF, COPD, DKA, and sepsis, performing EKG interpretation, central line care, and assisting with bedside procedures, under supervision of providers and with PCNAs, PT, OT.

Formación

• Graduate of an accredited school of professional nursing (or a program seeking accreditation).
• Current Registered Nurse licensure in the State of Ohio
• Current AHA Basic Life Support for the healthcare provider certification or obtained within 90 days of hire.
• Current ACLS certification or obtained within 6 months of hire
• PRN requires 1 year of relevant RN experience
• PRN must possess all required certifications upon hire

Responsabilidades

• Provide RN care on the Critical Care Step Down Unit (7 West).
• Monitor vital signs and patient status; respond to emergencies.
• Collaborate with PCNAs, interns, providers, PT, OT.
• Assist with bedside procedures and care coordination.
