Job summary

ChristianaCare is seeking an experienced Registered Nurse for the Medical Intensive Care Unit at Christiana Hospital in Newark, DE. The role is a full-time night shift with day rotations, offering a dynamic, high-acuity environment where teamwork and patient advocacy are essential.

BSN is required (ADN considered with BSN commitment within 3 years). At least 1 year of acute care experience and BLS; ACLS preferred.

Qualifications

• BSN required; ADN considered with BSN commitment within 3 years.
• Minimum 1 year acute care experience required.
• BLS required; ACLS preferred (must obtain within 6 months of hire)

Responsibilities

• Provide expert care for critically ill patients in a fast-paced, high-acuity environment.
• Partner with physicians and multidisciplinary team to deliver life-saving interventions.
• Advocate for patients and families during vulnerable moments.
• Use advanced monitoring and treatment strategies to achieve the best outcomes.
