Job summary

ChristianaCare’s Medical Intensive Care Unit in Newark, DE is seeking a Registered Nurse for the MICU on a part-time basis (30 hrs/week) with night shift rotations. This on-site role at Christiana Hospital offers exposure to high-acuity critical care and collaborative, multidisciplinary care.

The RN will provide expert bedside care, participate in life-saving interventions, and advocate for patients and families while advancing monitoring strategies and treatment plans within a supportive team

Qualifications

• BSN required; ADN considered with BSN commitment within 3 years.
• Minimum 1 year acute care experience required.
• BLS required; ACLS preferred (must obtain within 6 months of hire)

Responsibilities

• Provide expert care for critically ill patients in a fast-paced, high-acuity environment.
• Partner with physicians, specialists, and a multidisciplinary team to deliver life-saving interventions.
• Advocate for patients and families during their most vulnerable moments.
• Use advanced monitoring and treatment strategies to achieve the best outcomes
