Job summary

Johns Hopkins Bayview Medical Center in Baltimore invites experienced registered nurses to join the newly formed Critical Care Response Team. This 12-hour rotating shift role delivers rapid, expert clinical support for deteriorating patients outside the ICU, working closely with frontline nurses, physicians, respiratory therapists, and nursing leadership.

A BSN is preferred (an ADN with plans to pursue BSN is acceptable), RN license and CPR are required, with six months of nursing experience and

Qualifications

• RN license is required.
• CPR certification required.
• Minimum six months of nursing experience.
• 2–3 years in rapid response, critical care/ICU or similar high-acuity areas preferred.
• BSN preferred; ADN candidates must matriculate into a BSN program.

Responsibilities

• Serve as clinical expert and mentor to frontline nurses, providers, and leadership.
• Partner with nursing leadership, physicians and respiratory therapy to drive care.
• Provide rapid, expert clinical support for patients deteriorating outside the ICU.
