Job summary

Beth Israel Lahey Health is seeking a Respiratory Therapist to provide comprehensive respiratory care across neonates to geriatrics. The role involves ventilator management, arterial blood gas collection, and participation in critical care protocols within a Level II Neonatal/Pediatric and adult care setting.

The successful candidate will work with a team to implement therapy plans, ensure accurate documentation, and respond to emergencies.

Qualifications

• Associate degree in Respiratory Therapy from an accredited program.
• Massachusetts license or eligible; Registered Respiratory Therapist preferred.
• BLS certification required; strong communicational skills.

Responsibilities

• Provide respiratory care per physician orders for all ages.
• Administer inhaled meds via nebulizer, MDI, or other modes.
• Manage ventilator support and wean protocols in CCU and SCN.
• Perform ABG draws and expedite lab processing.
• Assist in procedures and respond to emergencies as needed.
