Job summary

USPI South Texas Specialty Hospital is seeking a motivated Respiratory Therapist to join our team. This role provides respiratory care for assigned patients, assessing and implementing therapeutic needs to support patient care in a surgical services environment.

Qualified candidates will have 2+ years of critical care experience, BLS/ACLS, CRT/RRT registry eligibility, and be prepared to obtain PALS within 90 days. Texas license/certification is required.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 2 years' critical care hospital Respiratory Therapy required.
• High school diploma or GED required.
• Registry-eligible CRT/RRT
• Registered Respiratory Care Practitioner by Texas Department of Health
• Current BLS and ACLS certification
• Obtain PALS certification within 90 days
• Independent decision-making skills
