Job summary

LiveWell Homecare Agency, LLC is seeking a Respiratory Therapist III to provide advanced respiratory care in critical care settings, manage ventilator support, and perform arterial blood gas analysis. You will participate in care planning, documentation, and safety initiatives for high-acuity patients.

The role requires a strong clinical background in critical care, effective communication, and the ability to mentor staff while collaborating with the healthcare team to improve outcomes.

Qualifications

• Associates or Bachelor’s degree in Respiratory Therapy (preferred).
• Licenses and certifications including BLS, ACLS, PALS, NRP, and NBRC-RRT required upon hire.
• Minimum two years of clinical experience in critical care areas.
• Strong communication, critical thinking, and interpersonal skills; proficiency with computer systems and databases.

Responsibilities

• Deliver compassionate, patient-centered care through assessment, therapy planning, and execution.
• Collaborate with healthcare team members to develop and implement treatment plans.
• Educate patients, families, and support systems, addressing biological, emotional, and developmental needs.
• Mentor and precept new staff, students, and peers; participate in quality improvement projects.
• Promote safety, accurate documentation, and evidence-based practices.
