Qualifications

• Degree in Respiratory Therapy required or preferred.
• NBRC-RRT, RCP, BLS and ACLS required at hire.
• 0-2 years of clinical experience; 6+ months in critical care.

Responsibilities

• Deliver patient-centered care addressing biological, emotional, and psychosocial needs.
• Administer therapies incl. aerosolized meds, oxygen, and medical gases.
• Manage ventilators, perform weaning, and interpret waveforms.
• Educate patients, families, staff and students on care and safety.
• Document accurately and manage electronic orders per safety protocols.
• Participate in quality improvement and evidence-based practice.
• Assist in invasive and non-invasive procedures as needed.
