Job summary

CHRISTUS Spohn Hospital Corpus Christi - Shoreline is seeking a Respiratory Therapist to provide pulmonary care for adult, pediatric and neonatal patients under physician supervision. You will perform airway management, ventilator support and administer medications as part of a collaborative care team.

The role requires NBRC RRT, ACLS, and BLS certifications with a 7 PM - 7 AM schedule and Per Diem as needed work type.

Qualifications

• RT/RCP license in state of employment required
• BLS and NBRC RRT credentials required
• ACLS certification required as applicable to role

Responsibilities

• Provide pulmonary care to adult, pediatric and neonatal patients under physician supervision
• Perform airway management including nasotracheal & endotracheal suctioning
• Manage ventilators setup and operation and administer aerosolized medications
• Assist with oxygen delivery devices and monitoring
• Document care accurately and participate in regulatory surveys (CAP/JC)
