CHRISTUS Santa Rosa Hospital – New Braunfels is seeking a Per Diem Respiratory Therapist to provide bedside respiratory care to adult, pediatric, and neonatal patients under physician supervision. The role focuses on assessments, treatment plans, and timely delivery of therapies across departments.

Schedule is 7 PM to 7 AM. Candidates must hold RT or RCP license in Texas, BLS, and NBRC RRT credentials; ACLS, PALS, and NRP are required.

Qualifications

• RT or RCP license in state of employment
• BLS required
• Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) by NBRC required
• ACLS certification required
• PALS certification required
• NRP certification required

Responsabilités

• Meets expectations of CHRISTUS Health competencies: Leader of Self, Leader of Others, or Leader of Leaders.
• Emergency (Code Blue and White) response;
• Airway management including nasotracheal & endotracheal suctioning;
• Delivery of aerosolized drugs;
• Ventilator management (setup and operation);
• Oxygen delivery devices and therapeutic monitoring;
• Chest film analysis;
• Blood gas collection and analysis;
• ECG analysis;
• Accurate and complete documentation;
• Participate in CAP and JC surveys;
• Transport duties.
