Job summary

Corpus Christi Medical Center Bay Area is seeking a dedicated Respiratory Therapist to join our skilled team. You will perform diagnostic and therapeutic procedures, manage both invasive and noninvasive ventilation, and collaborate with physicians and nurses to ensure optimal patient outcomes.

You will have access to advanced respiratory technology, mentorship from experienced RT leaders, and a stable schedule designed to support ongoing professional growth and quality patient care.

Qualifications

• RRT license required by state law/regulation.
• NBRC credentialing within 12 months of hire.
• BLS within 30 days of start.
• ACLS within 60 days of start.
• PALS within 6 months of start.
• NRP within 6 months of start.

Responsibilities

• Assess respiratory status and determine need for interventions.
• Deliver oxygen, aerosolized meds and airway clearance therapies.
• Manage invasive and noninvasive ventilation and monitor patient response.
• Educate patients and families; act as a clinical resource with the care team.
• Maintain and ensure readiness of respiratory equipment; follow infection-prevention standards.
