Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree preferred.
• CRT certification required.
• RRT preferred.
• Current Respiratory Care Practitioner License required.
• BLS with ACLS, PALS, NRP, CPFT, RPFT, RPSGT or instructors preferred.

Responsibilities

• Performs respiratory care procedures and administers gases, meds and aerosols for therapeutic and diagnostic purposes and provides patient education.
• Follows physician orders in administering drugs to the cardiopulmonary system and evaluates treatment.
• Conducts arterial blood gas interpretation and related pulmonary function testing and chest X-ray review.
• Maintains accurate documentation in medical records and adheres to policies and procedures.
• Promotes quality care, safety, efficiency and patient-centered experiences.

Certified Respiratory Therapist (CRT)

Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) preferred

Current Respiratory Care Practitioner License

BLS certification with ACLS/PALS/NRP or instructors preferred
