Job summary

Memorial Hermann Health System's Pearland Hospital is seeking a Respiratory Care Practitioner (RCP) to provide advanced therapeutic and diagnostic support for patients with respiratory disorders, including neonatal and adult critical care cases.

This full-time night-shift position requires 2+ years of RCP experience in adult critical care, a CRT certification, and licensure as a Respiratory Care Practitioner, with BLS and ACLS/PALS preferred.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree (preferred).
• CRT required; RRT preferred.
• Current Respiratory Care Practitioner license or temporary license.
• BLS certification required or equivalent.

Responsibilities

• Administer respiratory care procedures and provide patient education.
• Follow physician orders and evaluate treatment effectiveness.
• Perform arterial blood gas interpretation and pulmonary function testing.
• Maintain safety, quality care, and documentation in records.
• Mentor less experienced staff as needed.
