The role includes patient education, mentoring staff, participating in invasive and diagnostic procedures, ensuring documentation accuracy, safety, and adherence to evidence-based practice guidelines.

Qualifications

• Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Respiratory Therapy.
• NBRC-RRT, RCP, BLS, and ACLS certifications.
• 0-2 years of clinical experience with at least 6 months in critical care.
• Strong communication, critical thinking, and computer skills.

Responsibilities

• Provide quality patient care through assessments, collaboration with healthcare teams, and management of therapies including ventilator support, airway management, and arterial blood gases.
• Educate patients, mentor staff and students, and participate in invasive and diagnostic procedures.
• Ensure safety, accurate documentation, and promote evidence-based practices through performance improvement initiatives.
