Job summary

LiveWell Homecare Agency is seeking a Respiratory Therapist II to deliver advanced respiratory care in critical care settings, including ventilator management, airway procedures, and patient assessments.

You will educate patients and families, collaborate with healthcare teams, and mentor staff and students, promoting safety, quality improvement, and evidence-based care. Independent decision-making in complex situations is expected.

Qualifications

• Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Respiratory Therapy (preferred).
• Valid certifications including BLS, ACLS, PALS, NRP, and NBRC-RRT.
• 0-2 years of clinical experience with at least 6 months in critical care.

Responsibilities

• Perform patient assessments and collaborate on care planning.
• Administer aerosolized medications, manage ventilators, and interpret waveforms.
• Execute airway management procedures such as intubation and tracheostomy care.
• Conduct arterial blood gas sampling and analysis.
• Educate patients, families, and support staff; mentor new employees and students.
• Promote safety, quality improvement, and compliance with policies and protocols.
