Henry Ford Jackson Hospital in Michigan is seeking a Respiratory Therapist to join a part-time team delivering critical respiratory support, diagnostics and life-support across ICU and General Practice Units. The role requires graduation from an accredited program, NBRC registration, and a Michigan license with 90 days to obtain if graduating.

Supervision of support staff, accurate documentation, and adherence to HIPAA/customer-service policies are essential as you provide patient-centered care

Formación

• Graduation from an accredited Respiratory Therapist program.
• Bachelors in Respiratory Therapy preferred, Associate of Science Degree minimum.
• NBRC registration required or eligible.
• Current Michigan Respiratory Therapist License required or must obtain after graduation within 90 days.

Responsabilidades

• Conduct comprehensive patient assessments and develop individualized care plans.
• Provide direct patient care as required on shift across ICU and General Practice Units.
• Delegate tasks to support staff with clear instructions and oversight.
• Participate in daily bedside rounds and multidisciplinary communication.
• Maintain high standards of care and adhere to departmental protocols and best practices.
• Demonstrate clinical competency in advanced respiratory procedures, life support, and diagnostics.
• Perform cleaning, maintenance, and calibration of respiratory equipment as needed.
• Accurately document patient interventions and outcomes per departmental standards and timelines.

Educación

Bachelor's degree in Respiratory Therapy (preferred)

Associate of Science Degree in Respiratory Therapy (minimum)

NBRC Registration

Michigan Respiratory Therapist License
