Job summary

BayCare Health System, at St. Joseph's Hospital Main in Tampa, is seeking a Respiratory Therapist for a full-time day shift. The team works within a high-performing pulmonary care department connected to a level II Trauma Center and active STEMI/Stroke teams.

Responsibilities include delivering care per physician orders, performing diagnostics, and advancing skills in intubation and A-line procedures. Required licenses and NBRC credential ensure high-quality patient support.

Qualifications

• RRT respiratory therapy license required.
• Active NBRC Credential for RRT.
• CPR required; ACLS within 6 months; PALS.
• Associate's degree in Respiratory Therapy required.
• Bachelor’s degree preferred.

Responsibilities

• Delivers respiratory care services under physician orders and hospital protocols.
• Performs noninvasive and invasive procedures with minimal supervision.
• Performs diagnostic testing and emergency/Adult critical care.
• Trained to perform intubations and A-line skills.
