Job summary

Doctors Hospital of Augusta is seeking a PFT Coordinator to administer respiratory therapies and respond to emergencies under physician supervision. The role requires appropriate credentials and critical care experience.

The candidate should complete ACLS/BCLS/PALS within 30 days of starting employment and hold NBRC-RRT certification with state licensure as an RRT/RCP. Three years of CC experience are preferred.

Qualifications

• ACLS, BCLS, and PALS must be obtained within 30 days of employment start date.
• NBRC-RRT credential required.
• State-licensed RRT/RCP credentials required.
• Three years of critical care experience preferred.
• Graduate of an accredited Respiratory Therapy program, with Bachelor's or Associate Degree.

Responsibilities

• Administers therapeutic and diagnostic modalities to patients with cardiopulmonary deficiencies.
• Responds to Code Blue and MRT emergencies and maintains airway, breathing and life support under physician supervision.
