Essentia Health's St. Joseph's Medical Center is seeking a Respiratory Therapist to provide care across the full age spectrum, from infants to adults.

You will assess patients, plan interventions, implement therapies, and evaluate outcomes in a fast-paced hospital environment. The role includes general and critical care respiratory procedures, such as mechanical ventilation, airway management, ABG analysis, medication delivery, bronchial hygiene, and patient education, with rotating day/night

Qualifications

• Graduate from an accredited respiratory care/therapy program.
• Must hold state licensure in appropriate state upon hire, or be waiting for licensure to be awarded within 30 days.
• BCLS certification within 1 month of hire.

Responsibilities

• Provide respiratory care through patient assessment, planning, intervention, education and evaluation.
• Perform general and critical care respiratory care procedures and diagnostics on patients aged infant through adult.
• Duties include mechanical ventilation, airway management, critical care transport, arterial blood gas puncture, medication delivery, bronchial hygiene, patient assessments and education.
