Qualificações

• Graduate of an approved school of Respiratory Therapy.
• Associate’s degree in respiratory therapy required; BA/BS preferred.
• RRT credential and state licensure required; BLS for healthcare providers.

Responsabilidades

• Demonstrates knowledge in oxygen delivery methods and equipment; conducts prescribed therapies.
• Administers therapies, performs diagnostic procedures, and follows policy guidance.
• Operates mechanical and non-invasive ventilators; monitors effects and outcomes.
• Evaluates current therapies, makes plans of care recommendations, and educates patients.
• Documents therapy results; communicates with the care team; protects PHI.
• Performs and evaluates blood sampling with appropriate interpretation of results.
• Works independently across care areas; proficient with electronic medical records.
• Follows safety guidelines and completes regulatory requirements; annual equipment proficiency.
