Idaho Falls Community Hospital is seeking a Respiratory Therapist (RRT) to provide comprehensive respiratory care across all ages, from neonates to geriatrics. Qualifications

• Has current state Respiratory Therapy license.
• Graduate of an AMA approved School of Respiratory Therapy.
• Successful completion of BLS, PALS, ACLS and Neonatal Resuscitation.

Responsibilities

• Maintains knowledge of oxygen delivery methods and equipment.
• Administers respiratory therapy treatments and monitors effects.
• Communicates with Respiratory Manager, nurses, and physicians.
• Sets up and monitors mechanical ventilators and airway management.
• Performs arterial punctures for ABG analysis.
• Documents patient data in medical records.
• Maintains knowledge of forms, flow charts, and logs.
• Performs EKGs/EEGs and reports results.
• Demonstrates knowledge of age-specific treatment modalities.
