Amergis is seeking a Critical Care Registered Nurse (RN) for a travel assignment in Lexington, Kentucky. The role focuses on applying the nursing process, continuous patient monitoring, and implementing care plans with a multidisciplinary team.

Critical Care Registered Nurse (RN)

Pay: 2250 Week

Hours: 36.00

Location: Lexington, KY

The Critical Care Registered Nurse assumes responsibility and accountability for the application of the nursing process and the delivery of patient care in a variety of critical care settings. The Critical Care Registered Nurse consistently performs according to nursing standards and is accountable in managing patient care and assisting others in the management of patient care. Responsibilities include assessment, continuous monitoring of patient data, management and evaluation of therapeutic measures application of the nursing care plan in coordination with the multidisciplinary team and maintenance of a running record of the patient’s status. The Critical Care Registered Nurse must be prepared at all times to perform advanced cardiac life support and other lifesaving measures for the patients in their care.

Minimum Requirements:

• Current Registered Nurse License for the state in which the nurse practices

• One year of critical care experience is preferred

• CCRN certification preferred

• Current BLS card; current ACLS/PALS card (per facility requirement)

• Complies with all relevant professional standards of practice

• TB Questionnaire, PPD or chest x-ray if applicable

• Current Health certificate (per contract or state regulation)

• Must meet all federal, state and local requirements

• Must be at least 18 years of age
