Job summary

LiveWell Homecare Agency in Scranton seeks a Physician Assistant or Acute Care Nurse Practitioner to deliver state-of-the-art care in a critical care setting, working with a team of physicians and nurses on 12-hour shifts.

You will collaborate to assess patient needs, develop care plans, educate families, and ensure follow-up. Moonlighting opportunities are available to supplement income, and benefits begin day one.

Qualifications

• Master’s degree in Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant program is required.
• Strong communication, collaboration, and patient advocacy skills are essential.
• Ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment is required.

Physician Assistant or Acute Care Nurse Practitioner in a critical care setting, providing state-of-the-art medical care with a team of physicians and nurses.

Responsibilities:

• Perform 14 shifts per month, including days and nights, with 12-hour shifts from 7am-7pm or 7pm-7am.
• Collaborate with physicians and staff to assess patient needs, develop care plans, provide education, evaluate outcomes, and coordinate follow-up and referrals.
• Act as a patient advocate, serving as a confidant, advisor, and liaison between patients, families, and physicians.
• Opportunities for moonlighting to supplement income.
