77 Consultants seeks an on-site Locum NP or PA in Critical Care to support a busy medical practice in Scranton. You will directly impact patient care in critical situations and work with a multidisciplinary team to maintain exceptional care standards.

Responsibilities include initial assessments, evidence-based plans, managing critically ill patients, code blue participation, and thorough EHR documentation.

Qualifications

• Associate degree in Nursing or PA program.
• Active NP or PA license in the state of practice.
• Minimum of 2 years of experience in a critical care setting.
• Strong clinical assessment and decision‑making skills.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• BLS and ACLS certifications required; EHR experience preferred.

• Monitor and manage critically ill patients in a high‑pressure environment.

Requirements

Schedule: 7p-7a, 7 on/7 off

Patient Census: 10-15 per day

Mixed medical/surgical ICU population

Will participate in code blue calls and rapid responses

Required Procedures: Central venous catheter placement and peripheral arterial line placement

Must be board‑certified
