Job summary

Qualifications

• PharmD or BS in Pharmacy from ACPE-accredited school
• Active pharmacist licensure in NC or eligible before start
• Board Certification (BCPS or BCCCP) preferred

Responsibilities

• Receive, interpret, and review prescriptions and patient medication history.
• Provide pharmacotherapy recommendations and clinical interventions.
• Oversee dispensing of medications and sterile products when needed.
• Document notations in medical records and ensure regulatory compliance.
• Counsel patients and family on pharmaceutical care issues; participate in transitions of care.
• Supervise pharmacy technicians and students during shifts.
• Identify process improvements and participate in staff training.
