Job summary

Trinity Health Mid-Atlantic's St. Joseph's Hospital Health Center seeks a patient care aide to deliver direct patient care in collaboration with the Registered Nurse on the MSICU.

Responsibilities include bedside care, vitals, positioning, feeding, phlebotomy and EKG, with emphasis on accurate data collection. Requirements include a High School diploma or equivalent, basic computer skills, and current BLS/CPR certification; orientation and continuing education are provided.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent|required. Basic computer skills required.
• Current BLS/CPR certification and First Aid training provided upon hire.
• Orientation and continuing education to update knowledge and skills.

Responsibilities

• Bedside patient care and vitals.
• Positioning, feeding, and assisting with daily activities.
• Phlebotomy and EKG collection as needed.
• Adheres to hospital standards of care and practice.
