Job summary

Trinity Health Mid-Atlantic is seeking a Part-time Night Shift Patient Care Assistant to deliver direct patient care in collaboration with the RN. You will perform bedside care, monitor vitals, assist with positioning and feeding, and may perform phlebotomy and EKG tasks as part of the care plan.

The role requires a high school diploma or equivalent, basic computer skills, and BLS/CPR certification. Training is provided and orientation includes population-specific competencies and ongoing

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent required.
• Medical background, mechanical aptitude and manual dexterity preferred.
• Basic computer skills required; orientation and continuing education provided.

Responsibilities

• Delivers direct patient care in collaboration with the Registered Nurse.
• Performs tasks that do not require nursing judgments or administration of medications.
• Duties include bedside patient care, vitals, positioning, feeding, phlebotomy and EKG.
