Job summary

Endeavor Health in Elmhurst, IL is seeking a Patient Care Technician - Critical Care (PCCU) to join our team and support registered nurses in delivering compassionate patient care across a fast-paced unit.

This full-time position (36 hours/week) requires CPR certification, completion of an accredited nursing assistant program or a nursing clinical rotation, excellent teamwork, and the ability to prioritize tasks to ensure patient safety.

Qualifications

• CPR certification required.
• Completion of an accredited nursing assistant training course or a nursing clinical rotation.
• Completion of the care Companion Course within six months of hire if required by the department.

Responsibilities

• Perform patient care tasks and procedures under the direction of a Registered Nurse to ensure patient safety, comfort and well-being.
