Job summary

Endeavor Health in Elmhurst, IL seeks a Patient Care Technician - Critical Care (PCCU) to support the care team under RN guidance. This full-time role runs 7:00 AM to 7:30 PM, with every 3rd weekend and rotating holidays, and offers premium pay opportunities.

Required are CPR/BLS certification and completion of nursing assistant training or clinical rotation; strong interpersonal skills and teamwork are essential to deliver safe, compassionate patient care across the unit.

Qualifications

• Current CPR Certification issued by the American Heart Association BLS.
• Completion of accredited nursing assistant training or one nursing clinical rotation.
• Completion of Care Companion Course within six months of hire if required by the department.
• Strong interpersonal skills including teamwork, prioritization, and ability to follow directions.

Responsibilities

• Perform patient care tasks to support comfort and safety under RN supervision.
• Follow established procedures to provide for patient care in the PCCU.
