Qualifikationen

• Paramedic with 5 years of experience in emergency transport.
• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
• Excellent analytical, critical thinking, and problem solving skills.
• Knowledge of MS Office, MS Outlook, and EMR applications.
• BLS and AHA certifications required upon hire.
• Various paramedic certifications must be obtained within 2 years.

Aufgaben

• Provides therapeutic and emergency interventions and prepares patients for transport.
• Acts as primary or secondary caregiver ensuring treatment per policies.
• Evaluates critically ill or injured patients from neonatal to adult.
• Coordinates transport-related calls with hospitals and transfer centers.
• Shares responsibilities for post-transport tasks like cleaning and restocking.
• Maintains contact with dispatcher and MedEvac personnel for duty questions.
• Manages respiratory, IV, medications, code and pain management.
• Reviews patient charts to ensure accurate documentation.
• Follows decontamination guidelines for work area and vehicle.
