Lehigh Valley Health Network is seeking an experienced Registered Nurse for patient transport services. You will oversee safe ground or air transport, provide life support, and assist emergency teams to deliver timely patient care.
This role requires an RN license in Pennsylvania, 3+ years in emergency/critical nursing, and proficiency with EMR systems and MS Office. A calm under pressure approach and strong documentation are essential.
Qualifications
- Specialized Diploma Registered Nurse and PA license are required.
- 3+ years Emergency and/or Critical Nursing experience.
- Proficient with Microsoft Office, MS Outlook and EMR systems.
- Able to work under pressure with sound judgment.
- BLS, ACLS, PALS certifications (PA upon hire).
- CEN or CFRN certifications preferred (PA).
- Pre-Hospital RN certification is desirable.
Responsabilités
- Transport sick/injured patients to and from treatment centers.
- Provide basic/advanced life support during transport.
- Assist emergency providers to deliver timely care.
- Coordinate with transport coordinators and maintain records.
- Document patient care and ensure compliance with policies.
