Job summary

Priority OnDemand is seeking a Critical Care Paramedic to provide specialized care and treatment for chronically or acutely ill patients during ground transport. The role requires CCP-C certification, advanced paramedic credentials, and current ACLS/BLS/PALS.

Qualifications

• CCP-C certification required.
• High School Diploma required.
• Completion of an accredited paramedic program.
• Completion of an approved emergency vehicle driving course prior to orientation.
• 3–5 years as a paramedic in a high acuity EMS system preferred.
• TN paramedic preferred or National Registry paramedic with TN credential.
• ACLS, BLS, and PALS current by orientation.
• Unrestricted driver's license with clean record.

Responsibilities

• Provide evidence-based professional patient care in collaboration with the team.
• May drive ambulance to relieve the primary driver as needed.
• Administer pharmacologic agents and IV fluids during inter-hospital transports.
• Operate and maintain cardiac monitors, ventilators, hi-flow, and IV pumps.
• Assist EMT/Driver in maintaining unit readiness and supplies.
