Qualifications

• Current Florida Paramedic certification is required.
• BLS & ACLS Certification required.
• Must have or be able to obtain a valid Florida driver license on offer.
• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Two years of Paramedic experience preferred.
• National Registry preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide quality patient care utilizing knowledge and appropriate administration of Critical Care Training, ACLS, and CCP Standing Orders.
• Assist in treating medical situations with appropriate techniques and equipment with high standard of care.
• Complete run reports for each transport with patient care documentation and billing information.
• Maintain CCP CME requirements and stay updated with training.
• Maintain knowledge of ambulance, equipment, supplies, and medications.
• Communicate professionally with customers and maintain service quality.
• Market the CCP program to sustain a positive image and understanding of CCP.
• Record all runs in CCP Log and report equipment failures as needed.
• Attend CCP staff meetings and perform stocking/cleaning of CCP vehicle and station.
• Understand CCP policies and procedures and perform other duties as assigned.
