Fairview Health Services is seeking a System Professional Development Specialist RN - Critical Care. Located primarily at Ridges Hospital with a secondary site at Southdale Hospital, this role supports nursing education and professional development across the system.

The position is a .9 FTE with day shifts, focusing on curriculum development, competency validation, and leadership in clinical education to improve patient outcomes.

Qualifications

• Bachelor of Science in Nursing required.
• 3 years of Critical Care nursing (RN) experience.
• Experience in teaching, coaching, precepting, or training.
• MN Registered Nurse (RN) License.
• Basic Life Support (American Heart Assoc or Red Cross).
• Advanced Cardiac Life Support (American Heart Assoc).
• Masters degree in nursing or healthcare-related field preferred.
• ANCC/ANPD certifications encouraged.

Responsibilities

• Identify learning needs and develop curricula to close gaps.
• Deliver education to nursing and healthcare staff with measurable outcomes.
• Lead change efforts and apply evidence-based strategies to improve practice.
• Support professional development and act as a mentor/preceptor.
• Foster interprofessional partnerships and drive nursing practice excellence.
