Intermountain Medical Center in Murray, Utah, invites a Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant to join the Critical Care Medicine team in the ICU, providing care for acute medical, respiratory, and cardiovascular patients as an equal member of a multidisciplinary team.

Qualifications

• APRN or PA-C degree from an accredited program.
• Board certification or eligibility.
• Active, unobstructed Utah medical license, or the ability to obtain one.
• Ability to successfully complete Intermountain Health’s credentialing process.

Responsibilities

• Provide critical care in the ICU as part of a multi-disciplinary team.
• Manage care for acute medical, respiratory, and cardiovascular patients.
• Collaborate with physicians, nurses, and allied health staff to implement advanced therapies.
• Participate in 12-hour shift scheduling and ensure safe patient handoffs.

Job Description:About this role:As a Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant in Critical Care Medicine, you will work in the ICU at Intermountain Medical Center as an equal member of a multi-disciplinary team supporting advanced therapies for complex critically ill patients, including acute medical, respiratory, and cardiovascular patients.Intermountain Medical Center is the premier academic medical center and flagship quaternary hospital for Intermountain Health. This state-of-the-art facility currently has 96 ICU beds and 4 specialized ICUs, and is in the process of expanding.
