Intermountain Health is seeking an Advanced Practice Provider (NP or PA) in Cardiology at Murray, UT. The role supports non-invasive imaging and procedural pathways in our Cardiac Molecular Imaging department, with daytime hours four days a week.

Responsibilities

  • Review and triage orders; coordinate care including stress test supervision and arrhythmia device checks.
  • Document interactions and scheduling attempts in the EMR.
  • Collaborate with physicians, nurses, and APPs to optimize care pathways.
  • Support recruitment, onboarding, and training as the service line grows.

Job Description:Advanced Practice Provider (NP or PA) – Cardiology – Murray, UTWhen you join us, you’ll become a part of a nationally recognized health system dedicated to our mission of “helping people live the healthiest lives possible.”About this role:As a Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant in Cardiology, you will work with a team of healthcare professionals committed to providing quality care and excellent patient experience.This position will be housed in the Cardiac Molecular Imaging (CMI) department and primarily support all non-invasive imaging cardiovascular patients out our I ntermountain Health Medical Center (IMED)Your hours would be 4 days per week, 7a-6p with an occasional weekendNo call at this time, but may be considered for the futureResponsibilities include:Managing patient lists and queues, ensuring timely follow-up and accurate scheduling for cardiovascular procedures and tests.Reviewing and triaging orders, verifying patient information, and coordinating care delivery, including stress test supervision, pacemaker/defibrillator device interrogations, ambulatory telemetry monitoring and mail-out options for remote patients.Documenting all patient interactions and scheduling attempts in the electronic medical record.
