Job summary

Baptist Health is seeking a Registered Nurse for the Critical Care Mixed Acuity Unit. This full-time role offers 36 hours weekly with three 12‑hour day shifts (7a–7p) and every third weekend; a sign-on bonus is available for experienced candidates.

The RN will deliver care from infancy to geriatric, apply the nursing process, and collaborate with the inter-professional team to improve patient outcomes, while engaging in unit and hospital governance.

Qualifications

• Active Kentucky License.
• BCLS required within 90 days of employment.
• ACLS required within six months for experienced staff nurses and within one year for new graduate nurses.

Responsibilities

• Implement the nursing process for patients from infancy to geriatric.
• Collaborate with the inter-professional team to improve patient outcomes.
• Participate in unit-based and hospital governance to promote quality care.

Education
